These guides cover the major features in Cash Runway. If you are just getting started, begin with the Getting started section — everything here assumes you already have a Xero connection and a forecast on screen.

• The dashboard Read the 5-tile KPI strip, the cash-runway chart with conservative + optimistic lines, and the daily AI brief.

• Customers Slice, sort, and search the customer list — filter by ABC / cadence / risk, read each customer's expected next purchase, and drill into history.

• Scenarios Model Base, Best, and Worst outcomes. Edit assumptions and watch the forecast recompute.

• Manual items Add cash events that aren't in Xero — taxes, grants, owner draws — with optional recurrence.

• CSV import Bring historical cash items in from another system with the guided mapping step.

• AR insights Aging buckets, top-debtor drill-downs, and collection targets.

• Account balances Balance-sheet accounts (assets, liabilities, equity, incl. loans) as at any date.

• Budget vs Actual Enter a monthly budget and track variance.

• Trend alerts & Insights Automated trend detection and the Top-3 Insights panel.

• Account categories Tune burn / revenue inclusion, override an account's P&L position, and flag sensitive accounts to hide them from API keys.

• Plans, query credits & accounts The plan ladder (Free / Pocket / Wallet / Vault / Reserve), rolling 5-hour query windows, Cushion overflow, and Personal vs Team accounts.

• Account billing The owner's billing home — the per-seat bill breakdown and monthly total, invoices, the Stripe portal for card / cancellation, and Cushion overflow.

• API keys Issue scoped keys for AI agents and integrations, including the READ_SENSITIVE danger-zone toggle and the audit trail.

• Agent API A short tour of the read-only endpoint surface AI assistants use to read your data, starting with the composite daily-summary endpoint.

Which plan unlocks the app?

Cash Runway sells query capacity, not feature tiers. Any paid plan (Pocket and up) unlocks the whole app with the same features — plans differ only by how many AI/agent queries you can run per rolling 5-hour window. Free is agentic-API only: you reach API keys, Settings, and Partners, and every analysis page above prompts you to upgrade.
